Searching Comments
Written by admin on March 27, 2009 – 11:40 am -BackType is a not-so-well known research tool that can help you to search comments that are being made in real-time.
Unfortunately, it does not get comments from all the web, but only from registered users it seems, however, you can still get lots of results that way. For example, I search for comments on “Internet marketing”. See the results page below:
This is a great way to enter conversations that are going on and put yourself in places where stuff is happening!
Another nice feature is that you can set up alerts that will notify you when comments on your keyword phrase are being made.
Plus, if you use a feedreader like the Google Reader, then you can subscribe to the RSS feed for that search term. For example this RSS feed for comments that include the term “Internet marketing”.
