Do One Thing Really Well
Written by admin on March 8, 2010 – 4:33 am -Something I learned the hard way: it pays off way better to invest 1000 hours in one project (website) than it pays of to invest 1000 hours in 100 websites. I don’t know exactly why, but I guess it’s because of a certain threshold you have to cross. There are thousands of people who invest 10 hours in a website, and their websites suck. There are very few people who invest 1000 hours in one website, and their websites rock. Google likes websites that rock. So does Yahoo and MSN. And most of all: PEOPLE like websites that rock. And in the end, it’s people who will earn you money. Because it’s them who give it to you. So create a website that rocks, instead of 100 that don’t.
