Be A Professional ‘Talking Head’ With A Teleprompter

Written by admin on April 16, 2009 – 9:46 am -

If you use video marketing where you are the “talking head”, then it MIGHT be a good idea to use a script. But if your video viewers see you reading off a script, they will be much less interested. that’s where… the teleprompter comes in.

After all, if it works for professional TV stations, why shouldn’t we “small timers” use it too?

Definitly, if you got the eloquence and infectious speaking skills of a Gary Vaynerchuk, then toss the teleprompter.

But if you’re like most people who don’t really mastered public speaking, then using a teleprompter can really help you to create videos that more people will want to watch.

Now, you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on getting one. Just position your webcam right in front of your monitor and use the free online telepromter at CuePrompter.com.

Getting Traffic From Your YouTube Videos

Written by admin on April 3, 2009 – 5:17 am -

YouTube add URL to description firstIf you are uploading videos to YouTube, your endgoal should always be: TRAFFIC! You want to get traffic to your website or your affiliate link.  (The only exception where traffic doesn’t matter is if you want to create buzz and get a message or idea out there. But even then, in most cases you get more out of it if you direct traffic to your website).

Too many people miss this. The most important element aside from your title is the first line of the description. Because if you put a link in the first line, it will be a clickable link that will always be there next to your YouTube video. If you insert that address at the bottom of the description, people will have to click on the tiny “more info” link first (very few people do) and you miss out on lots of potential traffic.

Creating Great Videos

Written by admin on March 29, 2009 – 9:59 am -

Video marketing is extremely important for your online business. Yes, you can make lots of money without it, but why wouldn’t you use one of the most powerful tools of online marketing?

So, the question then is: how to create great videos that people watch and talk about? Videos that are effective for your marketing?

Well, just search for videos on youtube that are related to your market and see which ones are the most popular. Analyze why they were so popular and emulate that for your own videos.

(It’s the old: see what works and copy it method).

Video Distribution – Free Alternative To TrafficGeyser

Written by admin on March 25, 2009 – 4:00 am -

In you don’t know about TubeMogul yet, it’s time to get busy. TubeMogul allows you to submit your videos to several video sharing sites at once.

What sites does TubeMogul submit your videos to?

Blip.tv, Break, Brightcove, Crackle, Daily Motion, eBaum’s World, Graspr, GrindTV, Howcast, i2TV, Imeem, Metacafe, Myspace, Revver, Sclipo, StreetFire, StupidVideos, Veoh, Webcastr, Yahoo Video, YouTube, Viddler, Vimeo, 5min

Hop over there, create your account with them, put in your login ID’s for the different video sharing sites (and in case you don’t have them, sign up for them) and submit your first video. This is very powerful, and I urge you to use at least the free function to the maximum limit you can each month. Once you see the results, you will probably want to upgrade.

Your Videos Mobile?

Written by admin on March 25, 2009 – 3:49 am -

The web is going mobile, and the web is going video. Both of these trends will only get bigger in the following years (the explosion that we see now is just the start).
So, why not take advantage of that? If you create a youtube channel, you also have a mobile youtube channel.
