Interesting WordPress Plugin For Easy Scheduled Blogging (TXT to WordPress)

Written by admin on October 6, 2009 – 12:56 pm -

There’s an interesting plugin for wordpress that makes blogging easier. I will try this on one of my blogs to see how it goes. If it works the way I imagine it works, then it will be a great tool for people who create lots of blogs with unique content, but don’t want to deal with manually scheduling several blogs, etc.

Simply put all the stuff in a .txt file, upload it via the plugin, and voila, your posts appear magically with your choice of tags, categories, titles, and so on.

How To Handle Huge Amounts Of Traffic (With WordPress)

Written by admin on August 5, 2009 – 11:04 am -

I just read a case study by Dean Hunt about a viral article he wrote in the self improvement field.

It’s a great case study in and of itself, but there was one particular nugget that I want to share with you here:

when an article goes viral, and gets hundreds of diggs, it gets thousands and thousands of website visitors in short amounts of time.

And that can crash every wordpress site.

Dean Hunt found a plugin that prevents that from happening. It’s called super-cache, and works by converting your wordpress site into a static site temporarily!
