Gail recently wrote about Wordpress themes, and she recommended the free Cutline theme.

I agree that Cutline is a good theme for many reasons, but having tried it myself, I gotta say: nothing beats Thesis. No, it’s not free, but it’s better than free. It’s worth 3 times the price they are asking for. That’s a way better deal than free.

And while you’re at it – don’t brush your teeth for the two days prior to your job interview, and if you absolutely have to shower, just do it without soap, but better don’t shower at all.

If you still can get the job – you might be a good presidential candidate, cause obviously you possess superpowers when it comes to winning people over.

But too many bloggers do exactly the same thing, and then they wonder why their blog doesn’t take off.

Despite all the hard work they invested. Despite the great content the created. Despite the twittering and youtubing and whatnoting… the traffic is as abundant as water in the Sahara dessert.

Listen, if you are serious about blogging, you need to present yourself great. It’s that first impression thing. Make a great first impression, and people will be impressed.

And even if you put up a so-so post every once in a while, they’ll often still be impressed, just because we are hardwired to be impressed when things look impressive (even when they are not).

Half of the famous people in Hollywood capitalize on that. (They do nothing but looking impressive, but that they do so well that it makes them millions).

I know, I know – a custom wordpress design from a professional graphic artists can cost thousands of dollars. I sometimes wonder how they get away with charging that much, but they do. And yes, you can find cheaper dudes – but they will still charge you hundreds, and often it is more of a hustle than worth your time.

Now, here’s the good news: there IS a cheap (in price) solution if you are a wordpress blogger. It’s what I call a “miracle theme”.

It’s damn easy to handle. You won’t have trouble updating (where all customization gets lost with most themes), and all that stuff. Redesigning the blog is really easy.

I don’t know how these guys did it, but Thesis is an awesome the most ridiculously underpriced wordpress theme in the world wide web. Talk of overdelivering and undercharging – it’s them. Check it out.

If you are a blogger using wordpress (and if you are a blogger, then you SHOULD use wordpress), and you are not using this wordpress theme, and there is just one thing I could make you do, then I would make you click this link and immediately check it out. Because it really is THAT fantastic. It will save you so much hustle down the way. And thus, it will make you that much money, because it frees up the time to do what a successful blogger should be doing.
